This Cookie Policy explains how IQ Lens uses cookies, browser local storage and similar technologies on iqlenstest.com.
1. What these technologies are
Cookies are small pieces of information stored by a website in your browser. Local storage and similar browser technologies can also store information on your device.
IQ Lens may use these technologies to keep the site working, remember settings, preserve assessment progress, store consent choices and, if you permit it, measure how the service is used.
2. Essential storage
Essential technologies may be required to:
- maintain security;
- remember your language or interface preferences;
- maintain or restore an assessment session;
- remember a cookie-consent choice;
- prevent duplicate or abusive requests;
- provide a feature you explicitly requested.
Where law permits, strictly necessary storage may be used without optional consent because the service cannot reasonably provide the requested functionality without it.
3. Analytics
If analytics is enabled, IQ Lens may use optional analytics technologies to understand aggregate usage, such as page views, test starts, progress, completions, report views and device categories.
Where consent is legally required, optional analytics must remain disabled until you actively consent.
4. Advertising and marketing
IQ Lens does not need advertising or marketing cookies to run the core assessment. If advertising, remarketing or personalized marketing technologies are introduced later, this Policy and the consent interface must be updated before they are enabled.
Where required, those technologies must remain off until the user makes an affirmative choice.
5. Local storage used by the assessment
The assessment may use browser storage for non-advertising functions such as:
- language;
- anonymous/session identifier;
- current question or progress;
- temporary answers or restore state;
- interface preferences;
- consent settings.
Clearing browser data may remove saved progress or preferences.
6. Your choices
Where a Cookie Settings control is available, you can use it to enable or disable optional categories.
You can also delete or block cookies and local storage through your browser settings. Blocking essential storage may prevent parts of the assessment from working correctly.
Withdrawing consent does not make earlier lawful processing unlawful, but it should stop future optional storage or access covered by that consent.
7. Production cookie table
Before production launch, the site must display an accurate table generated from or synchronized with the actual implementation, including:
- cookie/storage name;
- provider;
- purpose;
- category;
- duration/expiry;
- whether it is first-party or third-party.
Do not list services or cookie names that are not actually used.
8. Changes
We may update this Policy when our use of browser technologies changes. The “Last updated” date will be changed accordingly.
